Oxford United Women are seeking an ambitious and committed Assistant Head Coach to join the Club for the upcoming season.
Working closely with the Head Coach, the successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and delivery of training sessions, matchday preparation, player development and the continued growth of the programme both on and off the pitch.

Job Overview:
Working alongside the Head Coach and wider coaching staff to support the planning and delivery of high-quality training sessions and match preparation. Responsible for contributing to player development through leading and supporting analysis sessions, delivering individual development plans (IDPs), and helping to create a positive, professional, and high-performance environment for players and staff. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to support both team and individual performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and coaching staff to plan, prepare and deliver high-quality training sessions
- Support the delivery of the Club’s playing philosophy and performance objectives across training and matchdays
- Lead and assist with tactical and technical analysis sessions for both team and individual player development
- Design, monitor and review Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to support player progression and performance
- Assist with match preparation, opposition analysis, squad management and in-game support on matchdays
- Support player welfare and ensure high standards of professionalism and conduct are maintained at all times
- Maintain effective communication with players, staff, and wider Club personnel
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum UEFA B License
- A minimum of 2 years’ coaching experience within Women’s football
- Sports First Aid Qualification
- High level of communication skills
- Personable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
