🎯 Role Overview

As a Video Scout, you will support the scouting department by analyzing players and teams using professional tools and match footage. Your insights will be essential in identifying talent and preparing reports that inform the club’s recruitment strategy.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze players and matches (video-based) within assigned leagues.
• Watch several matches daily, following scouting priorities set internally.
• Occasionally attend live matches when requested.
• Focus on assigned leagues or regions for detailed scouting.
• Deliver in-depth analysis based on club needs: player profiles, age, playing style, position, etc.
• Write professional scouting reports using the club's designated tools.
• Participate in regular meetings with the scouting team.
• Maintain absolute independence from football agents, agencies, or personal interests.
• Operate exclusively in the interest of OH Leuven.

✅ Your Profile

• Highly motivated and discreet, with a professional attitude.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a video scout or in a similar scouting role at a professional club.
• Capable of consistently watching matches and delivering timely, high-quality reports.
• Strong knowledge of football tactics, team strategies, and player evaluation.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, or English (spoken and written).
• Experience with tools such as Wyscout, Hudl, InStat, Eyeball, SkillCorner, SciSports, or similar platforms.
• Open to continuous development and innovation within the scouting domain.
