About the Role

A leading Saudi Pro League club is seeking an experienced and ambitious U21 Head Coach to lead the club's Under-21 programme and support the development of high-potential players within the club's pathway.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-performance training environment, preparing players for the demands of professional football, and ensuring a clear transition pathway from academy football into the first team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is passionate about youth development and player progression within an elite football environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of the U21 programme.

Design, plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with the club's playing philosophy.

Prepare and manage the team for all league and cup fixtures.

Monitor individual player development plans and provide regular feedback.

Work closely with Academy Management, Technical Staff and First Team personnel to support player progression.

Identify and develop players capable of transitioning into the senior squad.

Analyse team and individual performances to drive continuous improvement.

Maintain professional standards and contribute to the club's long-term player development strategy.

Support talent identification and recruitment processes when required.

Ensure safeguarding, welfare and professional conduct standards are maintained at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

UEFA Pro Licence (Mandatory).

Significant coaching experience within professional academy, youth development or elite football environments.

Proven experience working with players aged 17–21.

Strong understanding of long-term player development principles.

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary performance team.

Fluent English communication skills.

Desirable

Previous coaching experience within the Middle East.

Experience within a professional club academy operating at elite level.

Track record of developing players who have progressed to senior professional football.

Additional qualifications in performance analysis, sports science or talent development.
