Your day-to-day

• Developing and communicating our digital platform strategy which supports our overall commercial goals, placing our supporters at its heart.


• Developing and maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the timeline and priorities for feature development.


• Working with stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and translate those requirements into technical specifications.


• Collaborating with our Product Development Managers and Engineering teams to ensure that the platform strategy is being implemented correctly.


• Managing the product development process using agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint demos.


• Defining and tracking key product metrics to measure the success of the product and make data-driven decisions.


• Managing a team of Product Development Managers.


• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, using data and insights to identify opportunities and risks.

What we are looking for

• Experience of Agile methodologies and who has an IT, computer science or software engineering degree, or the equivalent work experience.


• Experience working in a software development role and moved on to product development (Desirable).


• Previously worked in digital media environment.


• A strong people manager with experience of leading a small team.


• An understanding of web technologies, software stacks and microservice architectures.


• A starter finisher who can deliver projects to tight timelines and set budgets.


• Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, creating statements of work, and managing budgets and schedules.


• Skilled in identifying risks and analysing mitigation options.


• Adept at using agile methodology to lead teams through a project.


• A strong communicator who can present clearly to senior stakeholders and translate technical requirements in a clear and concise way.


• Ability to clearly articulate and a project vision and customer journeys.
