Job title: Student/Volunteer Analysis Placement
Location: Port Vale Football Club; Vale Park, Hamil Road, ST6 1AW
Hours: 1 day a week (some evenings and weekends hours required)
Responsible to: Lead Academy Analyst
Team: Academy Analysis
Job Purpose: To assist the academy analysis department through clipping best practices, assisting coach development, and creating recruitment packages.

Job Purpose: To assist the academy analysis department through clipping best practices, assisting coach development, and creating recruitment packages.
PRINCIPLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record game and training footage using VEO and/or manual cameras.
- Clip games using Hudl Sportscode to create best practice videos for U9-U16 in line with the academy philosophy.
- Clip games using Hudl Sportscode to create individual clips for players and coaches.
- Clip academy and recruitment games to clip trialists to help coaches and staff to make informed decisions on players on trial.
- Breakdown coach training sessions and offer quantitative data to aid coach development.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Completed or enrolled on a degree level sports/performance analysis course.
- Ability to learn quickly to new software.
- A willingness and ability to work flexibly in a friendly, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Passionate and willingness to learn about youth football in all aspects.
- Excellent IT Skills.
- Self-motivated and able to act on initiative.
- Has a sporting background
