You’ll work with the Education Manager and MCFC Product team to support the development and delivery of education products for Manchester City FC’s award-winning Stadium Tours team. Ensuring the educational tours operations run seamlessly including liaising with educational establishments, managing booking enquiries and the planning and delivery of the experiences.
Current Education Tours products include: The Match Report, The Stadium as a Business, The Day in the Life of a Footballer and the Urban Regeneration experience.

Your Impact
- To support the educational tours operation, working closely with Stadium Tours Education Manager to schedule and staff education tours.
- To successfully deliver all the educational experiences in accordance with key learning objectives, with the assistance of specifically trained Tour Guides.
- To work with the Education Manager in taking educational bookings, dealing with any enquiries from teachers, invoicing and managing relationships with schools.
- To work with the Education Manager to support and train Tour Guides to be able to deliver the educational Tours, ensuring this knowledge is kept up to date and developed as new education products are introduced.
- Support the Education Manager in the continuous development of the educational tours ensuring they are in line with the national curriculum, responding to feedback from educational establishments and keeping up to date with club developments.
- To collaborate with other depts at the club to ensure the Educational Tour Content is accurate and reflects the club’s brand effectively. Depts to liaise with – Marketing, Comms, Football Education, Football, Finance
- To deputise for the Education Manager in his/her absence.
- To cover as a Tours Supervisor on occasions
- To undertake any other tour related project or task as requested by the Education Manager.
What we are looking forEssential
- Must have a good knowledge of IT systems and feel confident using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams
- A good knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and good practice
- A good level of numeracy skills
- Knowledge of National Curriculum (primary/secondary)
- Knowledge of English/European football and Manchester City
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Experience of being a teacher or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- Experience of working with children
- Teaching qualification (QTS or HLTA level 4 certificate)
Desirable
- Knowledge of Manchester City history
- Experience of ticketing/bookings systems
- The ability to speak a second language
- Experience within in a Visitor Attraction environment
- Experience of creating schedules
- Customer Service qualification
