Job Summary:To undertake research projects as directed by the Sports Science department and support the Sports Science team
in the delivery of support to all players across the club.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist Sports Science testing post competitive fixtures.
- Research into readiness testing on match day +2 and match day +3.
- Research into horizontal force profiling.
- Club wide horizontal force profiling.
- Feedback on strengths and weaknesses of individuals based on research project.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONQUALIFICATIONS
- Sports and Exercise degree or relevant level qualification.
- Possess or working towards a Masters’ degree by research.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Experience of working within professional football.
- Possess a strong understanding of the biomechanics of football actions.
- Experience of research into horizontal force profiling within professional football.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Time management skills to be able to plan and regulate workload including the ability to prioritise demands and thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent IT skills including intermediate abilities in all MS Office programmes.
