Description

Job Title: Senior Security Supervisor

Hours: This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work evenings and weekends. This role will also involve travelling on a national and global basis.

Location: American Express Stadium, Brighton and American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Job Type: Permanent

Deadline Day: 8th March 2024


Start date: We are looking for this role to begin at the start of the 24/25 season, from 1st July 2024 (subject to satisfactory employment vetting and safer recruitment checks).

Help to ensure we have the highest standards of security at BHAFC

This vitally important role will provide security to Men and Women 1st teams, and Under 21 teams, both nationally and internationally. You will also ensure the safety of key staff on club trips and be prepared to use physical intervention if required. As part of this role, you will provide support to the Safety & Security team by helping to manage the team duty roster and the stewards duties.


Due to the nature of the role, we will require you to be very flexible, as there will be requirement to work weekends and evenings as well as travelling on a national and global basis. No two weeks will be the same.


Your background

To be successful in this role you will need to be an excellent communicator, who is able to observe situations and make decisions. You will have previous experience working in a similar role, ideally with supervisory experience.


It is essential that you hold the following:


  • A valid and clean UK driving licence

  • A valid and in-date passport

  • Level 3 Emergency Aid at work

  • SIA Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
