Position Overview:
As the Senior Digital Marketing Executive at Stockport County, you will play a crucial role in driving the club's digital marketing strategies. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of digital marketing, with a primary focus on CRM, paid media, and email marketing. Your expertise in these areas will help enhance the club's online presence, engage with fans and drive ticket sales and other revenue-generating initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
CRM Management:
• Develop and implement effective customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to increase fan engagement and loyalty.
• Analyse customer data and utilize CRM tools to segment and target specific fan groups for personalised marketing campaigns.
• Manage the CRM system, ensuring accurate data collection, segmentation, and integration with other digital marketing channels.
Paid Media Campaigns:
• Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across various digital platforms (e.g., social media, search engines, display networks).
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform campaign targeting and messaging.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and make data-driven recommendations to maximize ROI and improve campaign effectiveness.
Email Marketing:
• Develop and implement email marketing strategies to nurture fan relationships, increase engagement, and drive ticket sales and conversions.
• Create compelling email content, including newsletters, promotions, and event announcements.
• Utilize email marketing tools to manage subscriber lists, segment audiences, and track email campaign performance.
Analytics and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital marketing initiatives.
• Generate reports and provide insights on campaign performance, audience engagement, and conversion rates.
• Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimize digital marketing efforts.
Qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on CRM and paid media.
• Proficient in the use of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and ability to analyse and interpret data.
• Proficiency in managing paid media campaigns across various platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
• Creative thinking and ability to stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for football and knowledge of the sports industry is a plus.
