Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation (MFCF) is the Club’s independent charity of MFC established in 1996 by Club Chairperson, Steve Gibson. The Foundation uses the power of the MFC brand to engage with the community to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people and adults to maximise their potential to achieve.

This is an exciting time to be part of the Education and Employability team as we refresh our programmes. The role will have the opportunity to plan, develop and deliver quality, inclusive provision across a range of partner Education sites to inspire and engage children, young people and young adults.
Education and Employability Activator (Primary)
This role will be an active member of the Primary Education team, delivering on the Foundation’s primary education programmes of Move and Learn for EFL in the Community, Premier League Primary Stars, Foundation’s Roary’s Academy and school PPA cover. As well as on occasion supporting the delivery of wider Foundation programmes.
Education and Employability Activator (Secondary)
This role will be an active member of the Secondary Education team, delivering on the Foundation’s secondary education programmes of Premier League Inspires, Local Authority Virtual Schools and British Land Raise Your Game. As well as on occasion supporting the delivery of wider Foundation programmes.
Education and Employability Activator (Further Education and Employability)
This role will be an active member of the FE and Employability team, delivering on the Foundation’s further education (FE) and employability programmes of NCS Community, USW Foundation Coaching Degree and British Land Bright Lights. As well as on occasion supporting the delivery of wider Foundation programmes.
Our ideal candidates will have a minimum Level 1 Sports Coaching qualification; experience of working with children and young people; experience in delivering a range of activities related to sport, education and/or wellbeing; and a flexible approach to working hours.
