Description

Do you believe football can change lives?
Do you thrive on inspiring young players and creating unforgettable first experiences of the game?

We’re looking for an energetic, engaging and values-driven Football Coach to join our growing academy team, delivering high-quality school-based sessions and helping unlock more opportunities for girls to fall in love with football.

This is more than a coaching role. It’s a chance to be part of a forward-thinking academy that values people, purpose and player development just as much as performance.

Why Join Us?

Make a real impact in schools by growing access to football for girls
Work in a supportive, ambitious academy environment
Deliver sessions that prioritise game realism, enjoyment and development
Be trusted to coach with creativity while supported to grow professionally
Competitive hourly pay with consistent work in term time

The Role

You’ll deliver engaging, game-related football sessions within primary and secondary schools, creating a safe, inclusive and exciting environment where players can thrive.

You will:
Create a positive, well-managed learning environment where behaviour standards are clear and consistent
Deliver game-based practices, small-sided games and targeted technical interventions
Build strong relationships with school staff and students, becoming a valued part of the school community
Provide clear, age-appropriate technical and tactical coaching
Identify and recommend additional support or pathways for players and schools
Work collaboratively with PE departments and school leadership to meet shared goals

What We’re Looking For

Experience delivering sports or football sessions in schools (primary and/or secondary)
Background in a football environment (academy, development centre, community or professional club pathway preferred)
FA Introduction to Coaching Football (minimum) with relevant experience
UEFA C or higher is highly desirable
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS, FA Safeguarding, and FA Emergency First Aid in Football
Confident managing groups and behaviour in school settings
Reliable, professional, and able to travel across South London

Our Mission

We’re passionate about breaking down barriers to football, especially for girls. Through schools, we aim to ignite excitement for the game and support players to continue their football journey beyond the school gates.
If you’re a coach who brings energy, empathy and high standards to every session – we’d love to hear from you.
