Description

Working closely with the Premier League Charitable Fund (PLCF) Salesforce Administrator you will focus on providing technical support to our network of users, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the overall health of the Salesforce system. You will play a vital role in ensuring that end-users can effectively use the platform, thus maintaining business reporting, performance measurement, and continuity.

You will work across the PLCF team and our network of Club Community Organisations (CCOs) on a daily basis, ensuring that they are supported and engaged in using the Salesforce system.

Established in 2010, the PLCF is one of the biggest sports charities in the world, with an annual budget in excess of £35m. The independent charity supports Club Community Organisations (CCOs) in 500,000 individuals at thousands of community venues and schools each year.

The role

  • Manage a community of over 1,000 external Salesforce users working for the various Club Community Organisations (CCOs) who are recording their programme management and grant applications on Salesforce via an Experience Cloud site.

  • Support of the wider Salesforce network of internal users.

  • Manage helpdesk via Salesforce Service Cloud Cases, ensuring a timely response rate, with an aim to close cases on the first touch point.

  • Troubleshoot issues, for example, data missing from reports, errors, how-to’s, and improvement/enhancement queries.

  • Manage the CCO Portal (Experience Cloud Site) – devising additional workflows and supporting documentation to enable CCO users to utilise the platform to its full potential.

  • Maintain user manuals and system documentation, building upon existing data management processes and user guides.

  • Engage the CCO network through various training mediums such as documentation, videos, lunch and learn/office hour sessions.

  • Build a strong relationship with Salesforce CCO Leads with the aim to grow a network of experts who can support the CCO users and reduce case load.

  •  Work with the Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Partner to identify areas of improvement for the Portal, Helpdesk and overall Salesforce platform.

  • Where appropriate, carry out other duties as may reasonably be required, giving support to other members of the team at busy times.


Requirements for the role

  • Experience of a similar role or as a Salesforce Administrator.

  • Salesforce Admin certification is not a requirement for the role, however, the candidate should be working towards this certification.

  • Good knowledge of the core Salesforce platform, managing data, and understanding complex data structures.

  • Good knowledge of building Salesforce Reports & Dashboards.

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with people on projects and stakeholders.

  • Positive, flexible, can-do attitude with a growth mindset.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/data handling skills.

  • Experience of Salesforce Service Cloud.

  • Experience of NPSP Programme Management Module.

  • Experience of working in the charity and/or sports sector [desirable].

  • Knowledge of how Club Community Organisations operate as charitable businesses [desirable].

  • Football and sport for development knowledge and interest [desirable].

  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
