Job Overview:

As a Remote Goalkeeper Analyst, you will be instrumental in providing in-depth analysis and insights regarding goalkeeping performance, techniques, and strategies. Your expertise will support the coaching staff in developing targeted training programs and enhancing the overall performance of the club’s goalkeepers.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise a network of contacts, video analysis tools, and scouting databases to identify promising goalkeeping talents across various levels and regions.

Analyse goalkeepers’ technical skills, tactical understanding, physical attributes, and psychological traits to assess their potential and suitability for specific teams and roles.

Prepare detailed scouting reports and present findings to technical directors, coaches, and recruitment teams, including strengths, weaknesses, and development recommendations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging goalkeeping talents, trends in goalkeeping techniques, and advancements in scouting methodologies.

Participate in regular virtual meetings with the scouting and technical team to discuss targets, scouting assignments, and progress.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in football scouting.

Strong understanding of the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of goalkeeping.

Ability to analyse and interpret game situations and player performances effectively.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.

Proficiency in using scouting databases, video analysis software, and other relevant technologies.

Strong network within the football community and ability to cultivate relationships with clubs, academies, coaches, and agents.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Working Arrangement:

This remote position that offers flexibility in working hours, contingent upon meeting the team's coordination needs and deadlines. Regular virtual meetings with the technical and coaching staff will be required.
