Description

Using your analytical and technical skills as a Recruitment Analyst, you will work alongside the Lead Performance & Recruitment Analyst and First Team Performance Analyst in delivering an effective recruitment analysis provision for the First Team Management and Coaching Staff.

The Role Consists Of:

  • Watch, complete and upload detailed reports on players via video and live scouting.

  • Manage and update position / player specific video databases and ensure they’re easily assessable.

  • Utilise our data sources to identify players of interest and subsequently provide / present information to coaching staff.

  • Utilise as many sources as possible to identify, highlight and monitor potential players of interest.

  • Liaise with the rest of the recruitment staff to ensure our scouting schedule is effective and maximised to its full potential.

  • Create and deliver individual player dossiers on recruitment targets to management and coaching staff.

  • Complete adhoc tasks as requested by the management and coaching staff.


About You

You will need to possess the following:

Technical Skills / Expertise

  • A strong technical and tactical understanding of the game.

  • I.T. literate and capable of using Mac and Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to create interactive and engaging presentations.

  • Able to handle large datasets and provide context through visualisations.

  • Competent using Analysis software such as Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Studio, Wyscout, StatsBomb, Tableau etc.


Personal Skills

  • Strong personable skills and can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-moving and pressurised environment.

  • Disciplined and able to meet deadlines independently.

  • Operates with attention to detail and executes tasks to a high standard.

  • Thinks unconventionally and looks for ways to progress the department and club.

  • Works with enthusiasm and committed to the flexible nature of the schedule.


Experience

  • Experience of working within a professional sporting environment.

  • Experience of working as a recruitment and/or performance analyst within a professional sporting team.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Performance Analysis, Sport Science or equivalent.

  • Full, clean UK driving license.
