About Brighton & Hove Albion FC

We compete at the highest levels of football on a global stage whilst keeping our Sussex community spirit. Our vision is to be a top ten Premier League club and a top four Women's Super League club.  A commitment to high performance, high professional standards and making a difference is at the heart of everything we do. The 2023/24 season is the start of new adventures, our first in European football and we would love for you to be part of our journey.

Provide an elite player care experience for our men's first team players and families

Are you a highly organised and trustworthy individual? You could be part of something special at Brighton and lead on the organisation and management of the player care function for our men's first team.

This integral role in the club will ensure players have a smooth and successful transition into the club using a holistic and multi-disciplinary team approach. You will line manage and develop the player care officer for the men's first team, and support them in delivering against their objectives, roles and responsibilities. Together, you will work closely and collaboratively with other departments across the club and foundation when assistance is required.

This is a full-time role and due to the highly unique nature and demands of the role, the successful candidate will need to be extremely flexible with regards to working hours, which will include evenings and weekends

Your player care background

We are looking for a bilingual individual who can speak both French and Spanish fluently - this is essential to the role. You will have experience of working or playing in a professional sporting environment and have experience in handling sensitive information always ensuring strict confidentiality. Ideally you will be working towards a form of mentoring, wellbeing or lifestyle support qualification.

We are known for our culture and values leading the way, and the right people will need to fit into that.  You will work hard, but the great thing about football is that you will see the results.

Our values play a pivotal role in our success

Our values are not just a list of words we expect our colleagues to learn, but a set of filters through which we deliver to each other, our fans, our partners and our sponsors.  As a team we live and breathe these values.

Our values are:

  • Treat People Well

  • Exceed Expectations

  • Aim High. Never Give Up

  • Act with Integrity

  • Make it Special
