Description

Our Story

Established in 2013, City Football Group is the world’s leading private owner and operator of football clubs, with total or partial ownership of twelve clubs across the world. City Football Group also invests in other football related businesses and serves as a global commercial platform for our partners, whilst fulfilling our purpose of empowering better lives through football on a local and global scale, consistent with what “City” football has meant to people for over a century.

Our Winning Team

Our purpose is to empower better lives through football. We are proud of the role City Football Group clubs play in their localities, delivering positive economic, social and environmental impact through our operations and through programmes and activities that bring about meaningful, lasting change.

The Personalised Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, supporting and delivering the Club’s multi-channel CRM marketing campaigns and messaging, across email, SMS and mobile, plus display, web and paid media channels. Working closely with the Senior Personalised Marketing Manager and other colleagues, plus multiple internal stakeholders and external agencies, you will play a key part in growing and engaging the Club’s global database of fans, as well as growing commercial revenue through effective use of personalisation and marketing automation.

This is a fast-paced role where you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of digital marketing campaigns, from planning, strategy and idea generation through to campaign launch, optimisation and monitoring. An exciting opportunity to join a growing marketing team at one of the world’s leading football clubs, you will be responsible for a wide range of marketing communications to help deliver exceptional experiences for fans across the Club’s digital products and platforms.

This is Your City

As part of our team, you will be entitled to 26 days annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday, private healthcare and a simply health cash plan, an annual discretionary bonus, plus a range of partnership and lifestyle discounts.

Your Impact

  1. Execution and creative development of personalised CRM campaigns across email, SMS, mobile and web, plus paid media channels, growing measurable fan engagement and commercial revenue

  2. Coordinate the delivery of a cross-channel calendar of marketing automation and lifecycle marketing activity, working with internal stakeholders and colleagues to identify the most important fan communication journeys, monitoring performance and ensuring ongoing, data-driven optimisation

  3. Work with Personalised Marketing colleagues and the Data & Insights team to identify, develop and grow priority audience segments to maximise the efficiency of each marketing channel

  4. Continually monitor, respond to and report on campaign KPIs across multiple channels and audiences, to be able to test new campaign initiatives and make recommendations for improving performance

  5. Support the growth of existing and new marketing channels and direct-to-consumer engagement opportunities, including monitoring the direct marketing landscape, becoming a subject matter expert in specific personalised marketing channels (to be identified in collaboration with line manager)

  6. Work with internal design and brand teams and external agencies to ensure effective and engaging assets are delivered for email and other channels, in line with brand guidelines

  7. Work with internal colleagues, ecommerce teams and commercial partnership stakeholders to help develop best practice guidelines and a measurable framework for delivering high-impact personalised marketing campaigns that drive growth across retail, ticketing, memberships, partnership communications, and other Club products
