We are offering the opportunity for someone to spend a year with the Robins, as they continue our journey through professional football. The successful candidates will join the either the first team, academy or woman’s first team in a wider performance analysis team and support the team in their day-to-day duties to ensure the highest standards of analysis are met.

ResponsibilitiesA non-exhaustive list of essential regular tasks and processes to be followed as part of daily, weekly and seasonal life within the club.
- Support the Performance Analysis department in providing performance analysis support to the first team players, coaches and staff. This will include training analysis, pre-match planning and post-match feedback/feedforward.
- Help pre & post-match reports for the first team, maintaining databases throughout the season.
- Film home games or provide a live code
- Provide innovative, project-based exploratory analysis to first team programme.
- Liaise with all relevant staff, where appropriate, to ensure that information, relevant to duties, is communicated effectively.
- Adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Swindon Town Football Club and its operation.
- Be presentable at all times when working and demonstrate that you can represent the face of the club in the manner expected.
- Act in a manner that supports the Club’s Vision and Values at all times.
QualificationsEssentials
- Experience of working in a sporting environment to provide Performance Analysis support and delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of Apple iWork and Microsoft Office software packages.
- Ability to communicate complex data to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and understanding of the demands of the role.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience using performance analysis software including Sportscode, Coachpaint, Hudl.
- Ability to implement a variety of feedback techniques into complex sporting environments.
