We are seeking an experienced and proactive People
Partner to join our People team. This is an exciting
opportunity to play a key role in delivering a professional,
practical, and people-focused HR service across a diverse
and fast-paced organisation.
Working closely with managers and department heads, you will provide expert
advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to drive positive
employee experiences while supporting operational and business objectives. You
will partner with teams across football operations, hospitality, catering, events,
retail, stadium operations, and corporate support functions.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships,
managing employee relations matters, and contributing to people initiatives that
support organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide practical HR advice and support across the business.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances,
absence, capability, and performance issues.
• Conduct investigations and support formal HR processes.
• Coach and guide managers on people management best practice.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and employment legislation are applied
consistently.
• Support workforce planning, organisational change, and team development.
• Lead and support recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities.
• Contribute to succession planning and retention initiatives.
• Identify learning needs and support development programmes.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems, records, and compliance requirements.
• Support safeguarding, right-to-work, and safer recruitment processes.
• Produce and analyse people data to support decision-making.
• Support HR projects, policy updates, and continuous improvement activities.
• Build strong relationships with managers and teams across the organisation.
• Deliver a professional, proactive, and high-quality people service.
Essential Requirements
• Previous experience as an HR Advisor, People Partner, HR Business Partner, or
similar role.
• CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards accreditation.
• Strong employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance,
absence, capability, and performance management cases.
• Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience advising and supporting managers across a broad range of people
matters.
• Excellent communication, coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional, approachable, resilient, and solutions-focused.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
