Pathway Performance Analyst

About The Role

Leicester City Women’s Academy are seeking a focused, motivated and enthusiastic Performance Analyst to deliver high quality analysis support, aiding the individual development of our players as they progress with the Club.

Primarily working with the U21s and U16s, the successful candidate will attended and film all training sessions and matches, to produce in-depth video and statistical analysis and performance feedback. This role will also support with the recruitment of players through analysis and player reporting processes.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of:

  • Working in a similar role within an elite Women’s football environment

  • Working with young athletes

  • Using Performance Analysis software and of working with statistical data.

  • In-depth statistical training and matchday analysis – including pre-match opposition analysis, post-match analysis, training analysis and individual player analysis.

  • Reviewing opposition video and scouting opposition players and producing the necessary reports/presentations on these areas.

  • Working within a team environment, co-operating with others, considering the needs of others and helping others to achieve objectives.


The successful candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:

Do you have these requirements?

Essential:

  • Performance Analysis or Data Analytics Degree

  • FA Coaching badges and other proven understanding of football tactics and coaching.


Desirable:

  • Masters in Data Analytics
