Description

Hull City Football Club is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Practitioner to join our Sports Science and Medical Team. This pivotal role supports the health and performance of our players and staff, ensuring the highest standard of medical care across training, matches, and beyond.

Position Type: Part time (2 days plus matches)
Location: Hull City Academy, Bishop Burton College / Training Ground, Cottingham
Salary/Pay: competitive
Closing Date: 11am, Thursday 12th December 2024
Interviews: First stage WC16th December, second stage WC 6th Jan

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide acute medical support for players and staff during training and matchdays.
• Manage injuries, illnesses, diagnostics, and treatments, ensuring optimal recovery and performance.
• Coordinate radiological investigations, screenings, and pre-signing medical assessments.
• Oversee anti-doping compliance and medication protocols.
• Maintain and secure medical records in line with regulations.
• Participate in emergency pitch-side care and matchday medical planning.
• Lead professional development sessions and support interdisciplinary collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:
• Essential Qualifications: GMC registration, ATMMiF or equivalent, valid first aid and indemnity certification.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification, sports medicine expertise, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Skills: Advanced diagnostics, injury management, emergency medicine, and strong communication skills.
• Personal Attributes: Team player, excellent organizational skills, proactive mindset, and commitment to professional conduct.
