- To support the England Para Football Programme by undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and administrative support to the medical and classification team.
- Duties can include, but are not limited to, the processing of information, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers in accordance with current policies, and supporting classification paperwork processing.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Responsible for ensuring full medical staffing in place for training camps and tournaments.
- Typing letters, reports and associated documentation as required by the medical and classification team.
- Assisting with internal and external medical and physiotherapy referrals.
- Liaise with external agencies such as hospitals, consultants, and community services to ensure optimal player care.
- Scan and process, workflow of all incoming player correspondence from hospitals and other organisations.
- Input clinic letters, reports and data into PMA as needed.
- Process appointment requests including the booking of scans, surgery.
- Key point of contact for players in relation to upcoming appointments and follow-up.
- Key point of contact for Health Partners in relation to the administration and processing of all insurance paperwork.
- Support all medical and classification staff with general administrative tasks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all medical information, data and player health.
- Participation and facilitation of audit, both clinical and non-clinical.
- Anticipate barriers to communication and take action to improve communication with all stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with players (and where appropriate carers/family), recognising the need to adapt and tailor methods of communication to overcome athlete impairments, levels of understanding, cultural background and preferred ways of communicating.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level of equivalent.
- GCSE mathematics and English (C or above).
Experience
- Experience of administrative duties.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting as a medical administrator/secretary
Technical Skills
- Excellent communication skills.

- Strong reporting writing skills.
- Strong IT skills, including audio typing.
