- The Department
The Women's Football Department consists of our Senior First team who compete in the Barclays Women's Super League, the highest league in the country for professional women's football. The department also consists of a full youth academy structure, ages ranging from U9 through to U21 Academy programme.

- The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced Operations and Administration Manager to join our Women’s Football Team.
You will be responsible for the management of the Women’s First Team Operations, supporting the general day to day and matchday operational and administration requirements for Aston Villa Women, operating within an elite environment at the highest standard. You will manage all matchday football administration matters in a smooth and professional manner, ensuring compliance of all governing body rules, regulations and license requirements.
This will be a varied role including duties such as supporting international transfers, player contracts and league registrations administrations, building and managing relationships with key partners, supporting with player accommodations and organising and executing matchday travel planning. You will manage all matchday football administration matters in a smooth and professional manner, whilst making sure Operations run smoothly and professionally, ensuring compliance of all governing body rules, regulations and license requirements.
- The Person
The successful candidate must have experience in managing operations for a sports team, and have knowledge of regulatory systems including UEFA, FIFA and FA (such as iFAS and TMS). You will need to have strong administration and IT skills, (particularly using Microsoft Office), with a keen eye for detail. You must also have experience and knowledge knowable of player contract and registration processes. You will also to be able to organise events and make travel arrangements.
We are looking for a proactive and organised professional with a calm and positive attitude who will thrive in a varied role in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have clear, concise, and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
This role will require flexibility and will involve travel, which will include evenings, weekends and Women’s First Team matchdays.
