West Ham United are currently looking to recruit an online assistant to work within the London Stadium.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Accurately pick, check, pack and distribute goods outwards for customer orders.
- Ensure that items are picked and packed in a way that will eliminate avoidable loss due to damage.
- Maintain and ensure the company’s health and safety procedure is followed.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, distributed, packed and despatched within timescales laid down by the Club.
- Work with warehouse manager to ensure correct bin locations have been assigned correctly.
- Responsible for coordinating production processes.
- Helping out other retail departments i.e. Warehouse, Stadium Store and other WHUFC Retail stores as and when required by your Line Manager.
- Rostering colleagues for relevant workloads i.e. checking upcoming promotions and launches.
Training and developing existing and new colleagues to display a high standard of working.
* Ensure customer service is being performed to a high standard and continuous improvement.
- Online colleague payroll completion.
- Cleanliness of all Pickface areas.
- Consumables – bags, boxes, customer ordering paper etc.
- Set an example as a role model for online employees.
- Respect the confidentiality of commutation with other supervisors and managers.
- Create a positive team sprit to ensure colleagues feel motivated and enthusiastic.
- Show openness towards learning from more experienced colleagues or manager and be accountable for personal development.
- Act as a role model for new employees demonstrating the accuracy for prompt pick, pack and dispatch.
- Weekly meeting with Warehouse Manager to discuss the week ahead (Monday).
