The role will support the creation of a network of thriving community clubs, working specifically with clubs that have senior teams participating within the National League System (NLS) by creating and overseeing the delivery of support services and key interventions for this specific part of the game

- Identify the specific needs of clubs with NLS teams and create key interventions to address the needs for this specific part of the game.
- Oversee the delivery of these key interventions across the NLS, including online, face to face and conferences.
- Help develop and support a network of high-performing and competent County FA Club Development Officers to provide local support to clubs.
- Manage a network of FA Club & League Consultants to deliver support services and key interventions.
- Work closely with the clubs and facilities team to deliver our strategic goal of 1,000 3-star thriving community clubs.
- Work alongside FA colleagues to align England Football Accreditation with future NLS club & league licensing.
- Promote and facilitate usage of The FA's Club Impact Calculator.
- Work with key partners such as the Premier League Stadium Fund to support stadia development matters.
- Ensure close collaboration and good stakeholder management between the Grassroots Division, NLS Team, County FAs and wider league and clubs stakeholders.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

Knowledge
- An understanding of the National League System from a league and club perspective
- Knowledge and application of modern business techniques and processes in relation to voluntary football clubs
- Knowledge and understanding of how voluntary football clubs operate
- Knowledge of sports equality and of the barriers facing under-represented groups. A desire and commitment to overcome these barriers
Experience
- Experience of working with or supporting successful sports and business organisations
- Experience of working in a challenging multi-stakeholder environment
- Experience of working in a politically sensitive environment
- Experience and successful track record of being solution and outcome focused
- Having a high level of resilience
Technical Skills
- High level of communication skills
- High level of Leadership & Managerial skills
- An ability to create presentations and present to a wide range of key stakeholders
- An ability to communicate effectively across a broad section of platforms both in person & remotely to the County FA & grassroots football workforce

- Knowledge of Grassroots Football league and club structures
- An understanding of internal club organisational structures and ownership models
Experience
- Experience of challenging in a constructive manner and respond to the developmental needs of individual clubs
- Experience of working with commercial partners to implement sports / community programmes
Technical Skills
- A level of commercial understanding to increase and diverse income streams across the NLS club landscape
- An understanding of the use of FA technology to support the administration of a club
- Broad knowledge of communication platforms allowing presentation to mass audience
