Purpose:Established in 1986, City in the Community Foundation is the registered charity of Manchester City FC and uses the brand of the parent Club to deliver award-winning programmes centred around Health, Education and Inclusion. The projects engage and impact over 20,000 lives in Manchester annually.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the MEL team and wider CITC team by maintaining and monitoring all CITC’s project delivery reporting and coordinating key processes that contribute towards the charity’s evaluation of outcomes and impact.
Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:
- Maintaining CITC’s database that is used for monitoring purposes, to ensure timely and accurate data is entered by project delivery staff.
- Acting as a first point of contact for all data and reporting queries, to ensure the business has access to efficient and informative monitoring and system support.
- Creating and delivering regular, and ad-hoc reports, to demonstrate CITC’s progress across all projects, against targets set both internally and externally.
- Working closely with Managers, Officers and the delivery team to regularly review department reporting, identifying non-compliance and escalating risks to data validity and accuracy to ensure these can be managed effectively within individual teams.
- Identifying trends and opportunities for specific training interventions, either in groups or one to one, that increase compliance, understanding and capability, and ensure the system is being used to its full potential.
- Reviewing reporting processes and procedures to identify where improvements could be made that may benefit the programmes.
- Working with CITC’s wider team in the field, to support coordination of programme case studies by providing relevant programme data that suitably reflects the organisation’s outcomes and impact.
- Coordinate general MEL administration to ensure charity processes are adhered to. This includes raising PO’s, stationery orders, booking facilities for internal and external meetings, and general correspondence.
- Ensuring that CITC’s Safeguarding policy and procedures are embedded to the highest standard across the team. Work to ensure that safeguarding practices and principles are adhered to, ensuring our legal and moral obligations towards the framework.
- Ensuring that all CITC and CFG policies and procedures are adhered to across the team, escalating any breaches as appropriate.
