Job Title: Managing Director

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to lead our organisation to new heights of success. The Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of PASS Abu Dhabi's operations, including strategic planning, financial management, business development, and stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the sports industry and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. The Managing Director will lead our operations manager, administration and coaching team to ensure all departments are aligned to our purpose.

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to achieve organisational goals and objectives. Lead the implementation of initiatives to enhance the quality of coaching, expand program offerings, and maximize revenue opportunities.

Financial Management: Manage and set budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure effective resource allocation. Implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating strategies to maintain financial sustainability and profitability.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships to drive revenue growth and increase brand visibility. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, schools, sports organisations, and government entities.

Team Management: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of coaches, administrators, and support staff. Continue to develop our culture of collaboration, purpose and community.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality coaching programs that align with industry best practices and meet the needs of participants at all skill levels. Monitor performance metrics, gather feedback, and implement enhancements as needed.

Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote PASS Abu Dhabi's programs and services effectively. Utilize various channels, including digital media, social media, events, and community outreach, to attract new participants and retain existing clientele.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing the operation of a sports academy. Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, security, and liability.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, UEFA Qualified Football Coach, Sports Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in a leadership role within the sports industry, ideally in a similar capacity.

Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue generation.

Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Passion for soccer/football and a deep understanding of coaching methodologies, player development, and youth sports programming.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive organisational change, and foster a culture of excellence. Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.

Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate partnerships and sponsorships.
