Summary:

Your Sport Solutions is working on behalf of Munchkin Sports to appoint for this position.

Munchkin Sports is a fun, energetic and enthusiastic sports company that work with 4000 children each week, gently introducing them to sport and providing each child the opportunity to develop their fitness, agility, balance, skills and special awareness (Munchkin Fundamentals FABSS) and above all else, fun! It is Munchkin Sports’ intention that every child that attends one of its classes or camps goes away with a sense of fulfilment and loves physical activity and/or sport.

Following on from the Lionesses’ Euro victory and amazing success in securing funding and inclusion for girls school sport, Munchkin Sports is following the Lionesses’ lead in helping drive girls sport in schools. Munchkin Sports is searching for a Lead Coach to take this area of the business to new heights. This is an awesome opportunity for a career-minded coach to thrive and grow.

Munchkin Sports deliver many girls sports classes in schools but see this as an opportunity to really build your career with the backing of them and the Government.

Job responsibilities and duties:

  • Lead activities according to Munchkin Sports’ age specific curriculums, after school clubs and fixtures.

  • Support, motivate and encourage all girls to take part.

  • Manage the staff in this department and form an excellent bond to really take this challenge on and be proud of its achievements for the girls’ sports community.

  • Expand Munchkin Sports’ reach into the community.

  • Assist with the hiring of new staff for the department.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children.

  • Be energetic, personable and enthusiastic, with the ability to keep young children engaged in sporting activities.

  • Be organised and highly reliable - excellent time management is essential.

  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Hold a full driving license and have access to own transport.

  • Ambitious, driven and career minded.
