Key Responsibilities
OUFC Women’s programme:
- Lead S&C programme across OUFC Women’s players: linked to individual development plans and game model.
- Attend (and lead where necessary) staff meetings to contribute to the planning and execution of team training – ensuring that all appropriate physical information is relayed to the technical staff.
- Working with the Women’s Sport Scientist, support all physical testing and monitoring aligned with OUFC performance strategy and develop a management database to monitor, track and optimise athlete training and match load, to underpin performance and to maximise player availability across the season.
- Working with the Women’s Sport Scientist, develop an education programme around athlete performance and deliver workshops to players, coaching staff, the wider multi-disciplinary team, and parents and staff as appropriate.
- Attend all training sessions to lead gym-based and pitch-based conditioning sessions, as appropriate.
- As part of the OUFC performance staff development programme, undertake appropriate professional development to keep abreast of world best practice and current evidence-based research.
- Any other duties as required by both the role, and as an integral part of the wider multi-disciplinary staff team.

Boys Academy S&C/Sports Science programme:
- Lead S&C/Sports Science programme in U15-16’s.
- Lead on-field & off-field athletic testing & development in U15-16’s.
- Benchmark U15/16’s in Gold, Silver & Bronze categories for athleticism and support recruitment decisions with this data.
- Lead warm-up syllabus in U15-16’s with assistance from interns and part-time staff.
- Provide input on U15-16 prehab (incl. individual prehab programmes, group prehab syllabus, seasonal activation syllabus).
- Collaborate with Academy and wider club Athletic Development staff.

Monday: 12:30-20:30
Tuesday: 10:00-18:00
Wednesday: 12:00-18:00
Thursday: 14:00-20:00
Friday: 11:00-18:00
Saturday: Boys U16 Match-day (home & away)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• BSc (hons) Sports Science
• Minimum 1-year full-time experience in an elite sporting environment.
• Competency to lead an elite-level Women’s and Academy Strength & Conditioning programme.
• Outstanding communication and organisation skills.
• Competency to lead on-field individual Athletic Development sessions, warm-ups and rehabilitation sessions.
• Competency in periodic anthropometric, on-field and off-field physical testing & analysis.
• Confident, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with players, parents and staff.
• Outstanding clinical knowledge in Strength & Conditioning.
• Sound knowledge of Catapult GPS monitoring/reporting and MS Office packages.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
• 3-years full-time experience in an elite sporting environment.
• MSc Strength & Conditioning.
• A clear understanding of the Premier League’s Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP).
• Awareness of the Kitman Labs management software for Academy Audit process.
• A full drivers’ licence and access to your own vehicle.
• FA Safeguarding qualification.
• UKSCA registered.

• Ability to meet deadlines with high level of precision and reliability.
• Willingness to contribute to department running with a sense of adaptability and co-operation.
• High character individual who will represent the values of the club at all times.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required by the role.
• Keen interest in evidence based, preparation and performance strategies in Women’s & youth football.

Remuneration Package:
• £27,500 salary.
