Bromley FC’s Community Sports Trust are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed coaches to join our team to help support and deliver on our provisions across the London borough of Bromley.

Projects include and are not limited to after-school clubs, holiday camps, Midweek/Saturday soccer schools and PAN Disability.

Delivery hours during term-time would typically be between 3pm and 7.00pm (after-school clubs/Midweek sessions) and between 8.30am & 1pm on Saturdays. As for camps, these run accordingly in the school holiday periods.

As a lead coach you will play a central role in building on our successful girl’s football programme across our community trust. You will support our women and girls’ Development Officer in the day-to-day operation of all our female community sessions with a focus on increasing participation. You will liaise with parents and be the first point of contact and monitor sessions to ensure they are delivered to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver football sessions within a school and community environment in order to engage girls to participate in our community programme


• Plan and deliver football festivals, tournaments and school holiday activities


• Report to the Women and Girls’ Development Officer and Head of Community on the achievement of key performance indicators and general updates for each programme


• Liaise regularly with other community coaches to share good practise and attend regular meetings to always promote cross working


• Quality assurance of sessions making sure the Trust’s/Club’s safeguarding guidelines are in place and all compliance measures are enforced


• Foster good links between existing and new schools across Bromley


• To actively always promote the Trust in a positive and professional manner.


• Attend regular meetings and courses for continuous professional development


• Update online monitoring and evaluation systems


• Support special events across the Trust, which may include match days and fundraising events


• To undertake any other duties which might reasonably be deemed within the status of the job and appropriate to the post.
