About The Role
The successful applicant will primarily deliver the academy GK developmentprogram aged U9 to U18. In conjunction with relevant staff, plan deliver andmonitor the delivery and individual development plans for all Goalkeepers across thefoundation, youth development and professional development phases.
Key Responsibilities
• To coach and deliver from the Academy Performance Plan
• Specialist trained to ensure that players graduating from the Foundationand YDP age groups have built upon the core technical skills and are ableto apply individual skills appropriately in a team setting
• Ensure that YDP GK’s have a growing tactical awareness in their role withinthe team
• Ensure that players graduating to the Professional Development Phase doso with a high degree of technical and tactical ability with physical,psychological and social capability.
• Maintain a weekly training reporting process with the Head ofAcademy/HOC
• Deliver group and individual weekly performance objectives
• Assist in the evaluation of the weekly performance objectives
• Assist in the reporting and monitoring of performance, recording,reporting and evaluation of all academy GK’s
• Assist in the monitoring and supervision of physical development
• Take part in all relevant meetings including in service training, parentmeeting’s/reviews at the request of the line manager
• Show a continuous commitment to personal development throughrelevant CPD and courses
About The Candidate
Successful applicants will need to:
• Be highly experienced in working with GK’s aged 9 to 18
• Hold the UEFA B GK Coaching Licence (or at least working towards)
• Hold the FA Youth Award• Have an in-date Safeguarding qualification
• Have an in-date Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification
• Be available for all necessary academy training sessions and match days
• Undertake any training relevant to the post, including ongoing CPD training
• Have experience using PMA and inputting the relevant information for thetraining and games program
Additional attributes and experiences:
• Previous academy coaching experience working with players across the threephases of the player development pathway
• Experience in scouting and player recruitment

• Strong IT skills and familiarity with PMA
