Wigan Athletic Academy has an incredible opportunity for an experienced Head of Coaching to develop the Club’s partnership with Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) in Bahrain.
The role of International Head of Coaching will be responsible for the development and growth of a new sporting programme created and administered by the partnership between Wigan Athletic and the NVTC, with the main objective being, to progress footballing opportunities for 15-to 18-year-olds within the Country. The NVTC has a growing reputation built on academic and vocational success and the inclusion of this programme can only enhance that.
Reporting to the International Academy Manager, this newly created role will develop coaches and players to improve and perform to the best of their potential. Through an established coaching curriculum and performance management strategy, the aim is to enhance the reputation of NVTC that develops and graduates sporting athletes.
This role will be based at the Training Center in Bahrain, with continuous links to the Club’s Academy base at Stadium Way in Wigan.
