Description

Department/Location: Huddersfield Town AFC Academy / PPG Canalside
Reports to: Academy Manager

Purpose of the Role

The post holder will be responsible for the organisation, management and delivery of the Club’s Education Programme in relation to Academy players and will be required to take a lead role in managing all issues relating to the education, safeguarding and welfare, and inclusion of all young players registered with the Huddersfield Town Academy.

  • Academy Manager

  • Academy Secretary

  • Head of Safeguarding

  • Coaching Staff

  • Academy Players and their parents/carers

  • Staff and Managers throughout the Club and Foundation


External:

  • Education Providers

  • Local Schools and Colleges

  • Premier League and English Football League Football Association

  • Department for Education

  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Accommodation providers


Key Performance Indicators

  • Academy players successfully achieve their own individual educational targets and all associated qualifications; and,

  • The safety and welfare of the Academy players is assured at all times
