High School Partnership Assistant Coordinator

The Purpose:       
Working with the High School management team under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator, the main purpose of the role is to help maintain positive working relationships with new and existing partners. A key objective will be to support delivery officers within schools. Assisting them to fulfil and surpass SLA responsibilities through strategic planning, effective safeguarding, quality assurance, event planning and coordination, health and safety and risk management practices, supporting in delivery and continuous monitoring & evaluation.

The Role

  • To support the Senior Coordinator in the management and development of School Partnership Officers including the setting, monitoring and evaluation of PDR objectives.

  • To provide operational support and advice to other divisions in the Foundation for the safe delivery of programmes, events, activities, and associated training. Including Employability and Skills, Girl’s Development, PL Inspires, Disability and Inclusion.

  • To plan and lead regular steering group meetings with delivery officers and key partnership stakeholders both internal and external to ensure agreed contractual obligations and objectives remain relevant and on track.

  • To develop and manage effective working relationships with delivery staff and key stakeholders within the partner high schools, local community groups and organisations.

  • To work with the High School Partnership management team to innovate, manage, monitor and evaluate service level agreement objectives to ensure they are subject to legislation and remain relevant, unique and aligned to the strategic vision of the Foundation and the partner school department.

  • As directed by the High School Partnership Manager and Senior Coordinator, attend CPD, networking events and exhibitions relevant to the role, proactively using the information and learning to influence current and future partner school programmes, events, and activities.


The Person

  • Demonstration of academic achievement in secondary and/or further education.

  • Strong functional skills in Mathematics and English.

  • A full and clean UK driving licence (or recognised equivalent).

  • Staff and/or student mentor support within an educational environment



  • Previous experience managing partnerships, demonstrating a passion for innovation, creativity and excellence.

  • Proven ability of engaging with a range of stakeholders and external partners in order to achieve strategic and contractual objectives.

  • Previous events management and coordination.

  • Quality Assurance experience.

  • Staff wellbeing support experience.

  • Experience of scoping, delivering, monitoring and evaluating a range of activities, events and programmes for young people and hard to reach groups.


Desirable

  • Experience of working within an academic setting.

  • Mental health First Aid

  • Other sports coaching qualifications.

  • Youth work qualification.

  • Knowledge of national curriculum.
