Description

As Head of Partnership Sales APAC you will be responsible for leading on and driving partnership sales revenue for CFM across the region through the management of a team of Partnership Sales executives whilst maintaining managing their own accounts and revenue pipeline.

Maintaining full oversight and control of activities in the region, the focus of this position is to lead on and deliver defined sales revenue targets against agreed plans. The role will also play a critical part in supporting future development of the commercial sales objectives and plans for the APAC region.

Please note this role can be based out of Abu Dhabi or Singapore

Role specific accountabilities:

Sales Delivery Across Team:

  • Lead a team of sales executives to exceed sales target for the region on an annual basis

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the categories and markets under its remit to understand CFM’s commercial opportunities.

  • Identify potential commercial partners for MCFC, and CFM Properties

  • Work and plan to deliver targeted sales objectives (individual and team).

  • Prepare sales propositions, generate business cases and sales planning

  • Deliver on set commercial targets and strategic projects

  • Develop strong relationships with prospective new clients and industry network to maximise revenue streams and explore other initiatives that offer CFM clubs brand and media presence across key markets

  • Engage with leading brands across key global & regional categories to establish new partners

  • Explore creative new initiatives that will enhance partners engagement with their customers as part of the partnership sales process


Networking:

  • Develop and maintain good relationships across the sports markets in APAC, including but not limited to: brands, football clubs, football federations, sports marketing agencies, advertising agencies, Media and PR companies.

  • Develop direct relationship with brands and key organisations that are existing or potential partners of the City Football Group


Brand Development Initiatives:

  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives that increase our engagement with existing and new MCFC fans through creative partnerships

  • Support the Business Development team with in-market knowledge, insight and sales activity to secure revenue for strategic projects such as:

  • Telecom Partnerships and Industrialised Sponsorship


Role specific knowledge, skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in Partnership Sales;

  • Experience in a rights-holder/club environment

  • High-level skills in all aspects of partner/client service

  • Competence in Microsoft Programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm about contributing to the success of the department and club

  • Strong team management skills

  • Well organized with consistent attention to detail

  • Self-sufficient and proactive

  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced working environment

  • Broad commercial acumen

  • Familiarity with local landscape (culture and business)

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
