Stoke City Football Club is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead its marketing activities at the bet365 Stadium.

This newly created role will provide a fantastic platform for a highly creative and insightful individual, in conjunction with our existing teams, to showcase their ability to create and deliver a digital strategy, creative campaigns and build a connection between the Club and the fans through engaging communication.

The successful applicant will contribute to the overall success of Stoke City Football Club through the ongoing development and execution of the football club’s marketing and brand management strategies.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer your main responsibilities will be:

• Creating a road map of what a best-in-class marketing department looks like and measure its success against Club objectives


• Leading key marketing campaigns whilst helping to shape the Club’s brand identity


• Building a digital strategy across our various platforms to deliver a first-class fan experience along with developing commercial opportunities


• Establishing long-term, medium-term and short-term objectives for the marketing department


• Develop a data strategy across the commercial departments


• Leverage data insights to grow our database and communicate more effectively with the Club’s fan base


• Review and improve processes and procedures, alongside regularly reviewing service standards


• Work closely with all commercial departments to drive awareness and sales


• Driving new product development and supporting change in line with business goals


• Ensuring safeguarding policies are understood and adhered to at all times

The positions will be offered on a full-time basis.
