This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual, with significant experience as a Football player or coach, to lead the Football programme at Bradfield.
Bradfield is renowned nationally for the quality of the football played and the associated success we have had in national competitions. This opportunity is therefore an exciting one to build on the strong foundations that are in place.
We are currently in a position to appoint either a Head of Football or a Head of Football Performance. A Head of Football would have responsibility for the organisation of the Football Club, the level of coaching at the College and the overall performance of our Football squads. A Head of Football Performance would be responsible for the Football coaching at the College and the overall level of performance within Football. They would work alongside another member of staff who would be appointed as Head of Football.
The Head of Football / Head of Football Performance will work closely with the Director of Sport to create an ambitious development plan to ensure that both boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 18 have the best possible opportunity to maximise their potential within the sport.
The role would suit a teacher of any academic subject, who would teach a reduced timetable around their Football responsibilities, whilst also being attached to a boarding house as a tutor. It would also be appropriate for non-teachers, for whom responsibilities to Football would serve as the primary focus. The final working arrangements will be structured in a way that plays to the strengths and skills of the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will need a relevant Football coaching qualification with experience of coaching/teaching to a high level within a school or club environment.
A significant love of Football, dedication and determination to drive Football participation and performance levels, and the confidence and resilience to consistently demand the highest standards from pupils are equally important.
In return, Bradfield College offer a variety of benefits, such as:
- Free meal during the working day provided when College kitchens are open
- Subsidised membership of the Sports Complex
- Subsidised membership of the College Golf Club
- Contributory Pension Scheme
Long List interviews to take place online on TEAMS from Tuesday 6th December 2022.
