Job Title: Head Coach – Professional Football Club (Asia)

A leading professional football club in Asia is seeking an ambitious and experienced Head Coach to lead its first team and drive the development of an exciting, forward-thinking football philosophy. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact at a club that is building for sustained success both domestically and in continental competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all First Team football operations, including training sessions, matchday preparation, and in-game decision-making across domestic league and cup competitions.


• Implement and evolve a progressive, attacking, possession-oriented playing style, in line with the club’s established football philosophy.


• Manage and coordinate a multidisciplinary technical staff, including assistant coaches, goalkeeping coach, analysts, and medical personnel.


• Design and execute a detailed periodised training programme, covering tactical, technical, physical, and psychological elements to maximise individual and team development.


• Utilise data and performance tools (e.g., Wyscout, GPS, video analysis platforms) to inform coaching decisions and improve team performance.


• Foster a high-performance culture, instilling professionalism, accountability, and a winning mentality within the squad and support staff.


• Collaborate closely with senior management, including the General Manager, on player recruitment, squad building, and long-term planning.


• Support the progression of academy talent, integrating young players into the first team set-up where appropriate.


• Represent the club with professionalism and integrity during media obligations, commercial events, and community initiatives.


• Promote and uphold the club’s values, ensuring exemplary behaviour and a strong team identity both on and off the pitch.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• UEFA Pro Licence or equivalent.


• Proven experience as a Head Coach or First Team Assistant Coach at a professional level, ideally in an international or cross-cultural environment.


• Track record of implementing a clear football identity, preferably with a focus on attacking, possession-based football.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, organise, and manage multidisciplinary teams.


• Excellent understanding of modern football analysis, sports science, and performance methodologies.


• A passion for player development and long-term squad evolution.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in a diverse cultural context.
