Are you an ambitious Head Coach with fresh, exciting ideas and a desire for success? We are looking for a motivated person to take charge of the Lionesses, including taking training sessions and preparing the team for games, taking into consideration the needs of individual players.
Position: Lionesses Head Coach
Responsible to: Salford City Lionesses Secretary
Key Relationships: Lionesses Players, Lionesses Staff, Salford City Director of Football Development
Location: Salford (Greater Manchester)
Role Type: Part Time - 8 hours
Salary: Competitive (based on matches and training sessions)
The Purpose:
The Head Coach will be responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of Salford City Lionesses training sessions and match days in a stimulating, enjoyable and safe way, while also encouraging learning and development
The Role:
Deliver a Lionesses coaching programme in training sessions that is in line with the values and philosophy of the Club.
Develop and maintain a positive learning environment to maximise each player’s learning potential.
Prepare the Lionesses for matches, taking into consideration the individual needs of players.
Ensure the safeguarding, welfare and support of all Lionesses players is of the highest standard.
Drive the culture of Salford City day-in, day-out, ensuring to build strong working relationships with different departments.
The Person:
The understanding of a range of teaching/learning styles to optimise the development of players
Able to communicate effectively with players and fellow members of staff at all levels
Able to adapt to the demands of the job and needs of the players and coaches
Dedicated to self-improvement and continuous professional development
Willing to follow and promote the philosophy of the Club
You will be an integral part of the team where your work will positively impact the players to achieve success and ensuring the highest standards. You will also be an ambassador for Salford City Football Club, presenting the Club in a positive image at all times.
The Essentials:
FA Safeguarding qualification
FA First Aid qualification
Enhanced DBS clearance
A UEFA B-Licence (currently undertaking, or working towards) is desirable
Driving Licence
