From pre-school to teenagers. Football, multisports and mentoring projects to football academies. Holiday Camps to staff development and quality assurance. We are looking for a diverse and motivated team of facilitators, coaches and support staff to help the Brakes Community deliver participation programmes and enhance our local communities.
Whilst we are looking for suitably qualified sports coaches, we are also looking for staff with the people skills to engage and work with harder to reach groups in the community (such as young people at risk of social exclusion, NEETS etc). We are willing to support the right individuals to complete the required qualifications for their role.
Work is flexible to fit around your commitments where possible and this may be a great career change for someone looking for a well paid, part time role that fits around children.
The ideal candidate must be:
Approachable and able to engage with a range of groups including young people
Confident and enthusiastic
Professional with a solution focussed approach
Team player with good communication skills
Ideally have a full UK license and access to a car
Desirable:
Level 2 NGB Coaching qualification
Additional coaching, teaching or early years qualifications
Youth Worker Qualification
Safeguarding and first aid qualified
Experience working with young people or hard to reach groups
Please note - This role will require some evening and weekend work (approx 2-3 evenings per week plus one weekend morning)
