Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESDesign
- Create high-quality graphics including static and animated graphics for social media, websites, email templates and other digital platforms.
- Design printed materials such as brochures, posters, banners, and matchday programmes.
- Develop promotional materials for Club events, retail, ticketing, memberships sales.
- Take an active role in the planning of projects.
Brand Management
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the Club’s brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Maintain and update brand assets, including logos, typography, and colour schemes.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing, content creation, and digital teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and other creatives to produce engaging content.
- Participate in creative ideation sessions for campaigns and promotions.
Project Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates.
Innovation and Trends
- Stay updated with design trends, industry standards, and competitive activities to constantly push the boundaries and improve output.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONQualificationsEssential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
- Experience with digital content creation and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative projects.
- Ability to create engaging and visually appealing designs that resonate with a diverse audience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Personal Requirements
- Passion for football and understanding of the sport’s visual storytelling.

Terms of Appointment
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, when required.
- 20 days annual leave (rising by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
- 6-month probation period.
