Summer 2025 presents a landmark moment for the women’s game, with the UEFA Women’s EUROs taking centre stage and a wave of momentum building around female football. Here at Northamptonshire FA, this summer also marks a pivotal time for us - not only as we continue to deliver our new football strategy for the county, but also as we continue the development of Kettering Sports Park, our new and very exciting community facility for the region. The successful candidate will be expected to support the delivery of the facility’s 5-year Site Development plan, with a particular focus on growing female participation in sports and physical activity as part of this important project.
The successful candidate will also play an influential role in shaping what our current and future offer for female football looks like, working closely with our clubs and leagues to support the development of female football across a range of settings, from Weetabix Wildcats sessions for our youngest players, through to helping grow women’s walking football, and everything in between!
This role will support clubs to grow their female football provision and achieve 2* and 3* England Football accreditation. The post holder will also provide ongoing support to our current recreational football provision, including futsal, walking football, and Just Play - with the focus on ensuring football remains accessible and welcoming to all.
