Description

We are currently in search of football coaches with FA/UEFA experience. This position offers the opportunity to train young footballers Aged 3-14 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the potential to manage our Mezzie Youth FC league teams on Sundays.

At Elite Tigers Academy and Mezzie Youth FC, we strive for excellence in all aspects of our operations, We are looking for a Football coach who has a passion for the sport but also someone who can play a vital role in nurturing and developing young footballing talent, instilling discipline and sportsmanship, and fostering a love for the beautiful game towards the children.

Key responsibilities:

Training sessions: The coach will be responsible for planning and conducting training sessions for ages 3-14 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. These sessions will focus on skill development, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and teamwork.

Match management: On Sundays, there will be an opportunity to coach and manage one of our Mezzie Youth FC league teams during competitive matches. This involves strategising, making tactical decisions, motivating players, and ensuring fair play.

Player development: The coach will also be responsible for identifying and nurturing talent within the team, while also providing individual feedback, setting goals, and creating personalised training plans to help players reach their full potential.

Team building: Building a cohesive team environment is essential for success. The coach will be expected to foster positive relationships among players, promote teamwork, and create a supportive atmosphere where players can thrive.

Qualifications:

  • FA/UEFA certification:A valid coaching license from either the Football Association (FA) or the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is required.

  • Experience:Previous experience coaching at a youth level or higher is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills:Effective communication is essential in coaching. The coach should be able to clearly convey instructions, provide feedback, and build rapport with players, parents, and other staff members.

  • Passion for development:A genuine passion for developing young talent and helping players reach their full potential is highly valued. The coach should be dedicated to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest coaching methodologies.

  • Leadership qualities:The coach should possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate players, make tough decisions, and act as a role model both on and off the field
