Role Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Football Coach to join our youth coaching team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, age-appropriate sessions to children aged 4 to 16, helping players build technical ability, game understanding, and a love for football. This is an ideal opportunity for a coach eager to learn, grow, and thrive in a dynamic, development-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging football sessions for players aged 4–13, ensuring a safe and fun learning environment.

• Work within the club’s coaching framework and player development pathway.

• Adapt coaching style and methods to suit varying age groups and ability levels.

• Encourage confidence, discipline, teamwork, and respect both on and off the pitch.

• Communicate positively with players, parents, and fellow coaches.

• Attend training workshops, CPD events, and internal coach development sessions.

• Support player evaluations, events, and matchdays as required.

Requirements:

• UEFA C License or FA Level 2 (minimum)

• Previous experience coaching children and young people

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Charismatic, energetic, and able to inspire young players

• A team player who is open to feedback and eager to improve

• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times

• Safeguarding and First Aid certificates (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable:

• Experience working in a club, academy, or grassroots setting

• Knowledge of modern coaching tools or video analysis

• Understanding of player development models and age-appropriate coaching

• Driving License
