Barking and Dagenham College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic Football Academy Coach to support its growing Football Academies within the Sports Department.

This is a part-time role, 8 hours per week , and is fixed term for 9 months, commencing 1st August 2023 to 30th April 2024..

The successful applicant will require excellent interpersonal skills – you will need to able to communicate effectively with players and coaching staff to ensure you maximise their football ability, development and understanding of the game.

You will be expected to plan, deliver and review high quality coaching sessions that meet the needs of the teams and develop players accordingly, based on prior performances using industry sports analysis methods and professional feedback.

Good organisational skills are essential as you will be required to set up/organise and manage equipment. You will also be required to attend weekly Football Academy meetings and to report on performance of players to the Curriculum Team Leader/Manager and 1st Team Manager at Dagenham and Redbridge FC as and when required.

To be successful in your application you are required to hold the following qualifications;

  • UEFA A or B Licence

  • FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (Emergency First Aid in Football)
