We are on the search for a new part time football coach, with a passion for working with children, who loves football and possesses great energy and enthusiasm! You will join our Super amazing small team of 8 (made up of 2 full time coaches, 2 office staff, and 6 part time coaches).

This role is perfect for someone who is looking for a part time coaching role in football and to develop further under the guidance of our senior coaches in our varied programme.

Start Date: 1st April 2023

Rate of Pay: £15 per session

Contract Details:

• PART TIME contract (not casual)


• 14 sessions per week turning into 16 in June


• Paid annual leave

Shift Pattern: 14 sessions per week (16+ from June onwards)

• Monday = 3.15-4.15pm (+ 6.15-8.15pm from June)


• Tuesday = 10am-11.30am + 3.15-4.15pm (+ potentially 6.15-8.15pm from June)


• Wednesday = 10am-11am + 1.30-2.30pm + 3.15-4.15pm


• Thursday = 10.30am - 11.30am + 3.15-4.15pm


• Friday = 3.15-4.15pm + 6-7pm


• Saturday = 8.30am-12pm


• Optional overtime = Saturday and Sunday football birthday parties


• School Holidays = all day camp work between 8am - 4pm or 5.30pm

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 years coaching experience of primary school children


• FA Level 1 / Introduction to Football Coaching qualified


• CONFIDENT and ENERGETIC persona (no bores please)


• A valid UK driving License with access to car


• Must live within a 30-35min drive of Croydon, South London / Surrey


• Must be able to work the schedule outlined above


• Clean DBS or able to obtain one through us

The Role:

You will be involved in our following programmes (full training provided of course), which will keep your weeks varied and exciting:

• Girls only football development


• Football team training for SZ United FC


• Football sessions for primary school ages


• Toddler football coaching in nurseries and our Tots classes

ABOUT US 

Skillz UK was founded in 2012 by Ashley Thomas. Our first ever class started with just 10 children attending.

The goal has been simple! To create football classes centred around CHILDREN (or our Superstars as we like to call them)! This means lots of energy, themed games and tonnes of smiles!

With a soon to be UEFA A license co-Academy Manager, UEFA B License Managing Director with Premier League academy experience, soon to be UEFA B licensed goalkeeper coach co-Academy Manager, and a team full of highly energetic passionate coaches, we deliver over 45 football sessions per week, plus support SZ United FC - who have 18 teams for the 2022-2023 season,.

To date, we now positively impact almost 1,000 children per week in Croydon and Sutton at our children's football classes, football club, and holiday camps business.
