Reporting To: Head of Medical Performance
Direct Reports: Student Sports Therapist(s)
Role Purpose
Assist in the operational delivery of medical rehabilitation services within First Team training and matchdays, whilst minimising the impact of illness and injury.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and delivery of PVFC injury rehabilitation programmes for First Team MSK injuries.
Lead in the clinical management of the playing squad for illness and injuries.
Lead in the clinical preparation and first aid emergencies of the playing squad on training sessions and Home/Away matches.
Maintain a comprehensive, indexed database of note keeping in accordance with professional standards requirement.
Support / contribute to the club’s internal CPD programme.
Attend / chaperone players to appointments, injections, consultations and surgeries when required, as directed by the Head of Medical Performance.
Support the process of the club's protocol for concussion assessment and management.
Lead the cardiac screening protocol and ordering of consumables, as required.

Essential Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation.
Registration with SST / STA / BASRaT.
Experience of working in a football environment.
Live ITMMiF certificate.
Desirable Qualifications
Enrolled onto postgraduate degree in a Sports Medicine related field.
Live ATMMiF certificate.

Full, clean UK driving licence
