Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country’s longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since
1902.

The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023–24 Sky Bet
League Two title.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven and passionate Events Marketing
Executive to spearhead the sales and marketing efforts for hospitality and events at the recently revamped Edgeley Park events space.

You will be a driving force behind the success and profitability of hospitality and the events calendar.

Key Responsibilities:
• Marketing Strategy: Shape an engaging social media strategy and communication plan to help grow Edgeley Park's social media following and reach a diverse target audience.
• Drive Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure monthly targets are consistently met.
• Content: Capture captivating content during events and matchday hospitality for use across multiple digital platforms.
• Marketing collateral: Assist in production of marketing collateral, making sure it aligns with the club's brand.
• Market Research: conduct industry research to identify trends and opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential
• Proven marketing experience in the events or hospitality industry.
• Ability to develop successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and CRM systems.
• Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Desirable
• Experience and passion for events marketing
• Experience of working in a football/sporting setting
