- The Role
Reporting into the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Lead, this new role as Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Assistant will consist of a mixture of office-based administrative tasks and support in EDI initiatives, training and programs which challenge inequality and discrimination, promote social integration and build community cohesion.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support by organising meetings, taking minutes and distributing action plans, manage the equality email inbox and the text service to ensure that enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner and liaise with relevant team colleagues on responses where required. You will also support the EDI Lead in, collating data, producing reports and relevant management information for the purposes of achieving PLEDIS standards, Gender Pay Gap Reports and EDI audits.
You will provide an onsite presence and support on matchdays as and when required (Men’s and Women’s) and support and assist in the co-ordination of all Club EDI initiatives such as, No Room for Racism, Rainbow Laces, and also support in coordinating EDI training programmes and other events across the Club.
- The Person
The ideal candidate must have proven administration experience in an office environment as well as be a proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally you will be educated to GCSE level (including Maths and English Grade C /Grade 4 or above) or equivalent.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills which are clear, concise, and accurate to internal/external stake holders, you will deliver exceptional customer service and have the ability to liaise and build positive relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
