Ipswich Town Football Club is looking for Emerging Talent Scouts to join our recruitment department. This role will be integral to the identification and recruitment of talent of players (from U17 to U21) who have the long-term potential to impact the Ipswich Town First Team and wider game.

As part of your role, you will:

• Conduct live & video scouting.
• Produce evidence of player assessments through written reporting and video analysis.
• Gather intelligence and information to support the decision-making processes.
• Conduct research across youth domestic leagues to identify players with potential to play for ITFC, maintaining up to date and relevant regional market intelligence.
• Identify and monitor players through live and video scouting of appropriate games/tournaments.
• Manage shortlists of identified emerging players and maintaining a database of reports and videos.

Who are you?

• You will have previous experience working in professional football and an understanding of best practice within scouting.
• You will have a proven track record of understanding the modern game/player profiles required to play at an elite level.
• You will have excellent attention to detail and are very well organised.
• You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, and always act with confidentiality.
• You will be able to work as part of a team, but also lead on own initiative.
• You will be flexible to the dynamic nature of football demands (working evenings & weekends).
• You will have a work ethic which reflects the demands of the role.
• You are IT literate, across all required platforms (Office, SportsCode, WyScout & required software platforms).
• You will have a desire to develop within the role & have a passion for scouting.
• You will require a full Driving Licence.
