Job PurposeThe ETE Coordinator (Pathways & Partnerships) will play a vital role in the growth and development of the GAME ON Employability Programme for young people aged 16-25 in south London. The Coordinator will identify new industry pathways, establish partnerships with employers, and facilitate work placements, internships, apprenticeships, and industry trips & networking visits. This role aims to provide participants with valuable industry experiences, enhance their employability skills, and help them plan their career pathways. The post-holder will work closely with all colleagues of the Foundation to ensure our referral processes and delivery meet the needs of our participants and develop mechanisms to support our Education, Training, and employability Programmes in the following key areas: Enrolment, Induction, Assessment, Quality Assurance, Learner Support, Career Coaching and Mentoring.
Job Summary
- Identify and establish partnerships with employers across various industries, e.g. locally and throughout London.
- Research and understand industry needs and trends to align with the interests and aspirations of participants and identify work placement, internship, apprenticeship, and networking opportunities for participants.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, organisations, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with employers to create tailored pathways for participants based on their career interests and goals.
- Stay updated on emerging industry sectors and opportunities to expand the range of pathways available.
- Work closely with the Senior ETE Coordinator to understand participants' needs and aspirations and provide guidance and support to participants in navigating industry pathways, including application processes, interview preparation, and professional development.
- Help participants connect with relevant resources, networks, and opportunities to enhance their employability.
- Collaborate with the Senior ETE Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of the Skills for Life course and 'Kick Off to...' short courses.
- Lead the organisation of industry trips, visits to partner companies, and industry insights sessions.
- Coordinate with the Senior ETE Coordinator to track participants' progress, milestones, and outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication and build strong relationships with industry partners.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of industry pathways, seeking feedback from participants and employers.
- Evaluate the impact of partnerships and pathways on participants' employability outcomes.
- Support relationships with Crystal Palace Football Club (CPFC), key suppliers/employers and stakeholders.
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Senior Management Team of the Foundation
Job RequirementsEssentialKnowledge
- A Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Career Coaching, Education)
- Strong knowledge of industries, employment trends, and pathways relevant to young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employers, industry professionals, and young participants
- Knowledge of youth employability programs and understanding of the challenges faced by young people
- Passion for supporting young people in their career development and improving their employability
Experience
- Previous experience in partnership development, employer engagement, or related roles
- Experience of working with young people who are NEET or ‘hard to reach’
- Experience of career coaching & mentoring individuals
- Must have excellent facilitation skills
- Experience of monitoring participant progress using standard database systems
- Experience of evaluating programmes, analysing qualitative and quantitative data.

- First Aid Certificate
